For the holiday season, I decided to make my fancy French Bulldog even more fancy by creating him a bow tie to add on to one of his collars. While making the collar, I documented the steps and put them together in the photo tutorial below. Enjoy; I know Louis (the French Bulldog) will!
The tutorial below illustrates a dual tone bow tie, spray painted to make it sparkle. This particular bow tie was made out of scrap fabric: a reusable shopping bag (tiffany blue) and an old sheet (ivory). Use whatever you have lying around to up-cycle, or buy new small fabric to make high-class bow tie couture!
SUPPLY LIST:
- Scraps of fabric (about 10″ by 6″) for the main part of the bow tie
- Additional scraps of fabric (about 2″ by 4″) for the center of the bow tie
- Needle and thread
- Spray paint, or paint and paint brush

Doesn’t he look handsome! A French Bulldog wearing a Bow Tie
